Camp John Hay, Baguio City -In a recent milestone, the John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC), under the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), handed over a Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) to the heirs of spouses Juanito and Nemesia Ponsones through Atty. Percival Nardo F. Andrada, one of the beneficiaries of the Scout Barrio Housing Project. This project, located in Scout Barrio, Baguio City, aims to secure housing for long-time residents who have occupied the area since the American era.
So far, BCDA and JHMC have awarded TCTs to 150 beneficiaries. The Scout Barrio Housing Project is currently 92.02% complete. Since the project’s inception, BCDA and JHMC have diligently managed the distribution of lots, ensuring compliance with Executive Order No. 64, Series of 2001, which designates this area as a housing site.
The remaining 12 beneficiaries are in the process of fulfilling the requirements to obtain their TCTs.
