Camp John Hay, Baguio City—The John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) recently held its first quarterly meeting for 2025 with Camp John Hay locators on March 17. It was an opportunity to connect, share updates, and discuss plans to make the camp an even better place for businesses and the community.
One of the main highlights was the introduction of a new accreditation process for businesses operating in the John Hay Special Economic Zone (JHSEZ). The team at JHMC also took the time to explain how locators can secure vital clearances, like the JHSEZ Billing Clearance and the Authority to Operate (ATO), with a step-by-step guide on the necessary documents.
True to its promise of protecting the environment, JHMC encouraged locators to follow the approval process for their projects. This includes getting a clearance from the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) and complying with the Certificate of Environmental Compliance (CEC) requirements. The significance of proper sewage management in preserving a sustainable camp was also underlined throughout the meeting.
