The John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) has thrown its support behind the Basa Baguio Book Drive, an initiative led by the City Government. Aligned closely with the overarching objectives of its Karunungan Project, JHMC’s participation underscores its steadfast commitment to fostering literacy and educational advancement in its surrounding communities.
The Basa Baguio Book Drive aims to promote literacy and education by collecting books and educational materials. Recognizing the importance of such initiatives, JHMC encouraged its employees to contribute to the cause, resulting in a substantial collection of books.
The donated books were later handed over to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) for proper sorting and consolidation on Friday, May 10, 2024.
