Theme: THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN A GROWING ECONOMY
JHMC, carrying the principle of good governance and within the context of its mandate, is committing itself in mainstreaming gender perspectives in its programs and projects. This is to foster and equally promote the welfare of men, women and children specifically highlighting the contribution of women to nation building.
This year, JHMC launches its first ever GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT-CENTERED PHOTO CONTEST with the central theme “THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN A GROWING ECONOMY” to promote awareness on gender equality and sensitivity.
The winning photos of this contest will be featured in JHMC’s 2016 Information and Education Campaigns on Gender and Development (GAD).
