Site Visit Update: 95% Survival Rate of Trees Planted at Tree Top Adventure

A site visit was conducted on January 15, 2025, to check the condition of 100 seedlings that had been planted along Tree Top Adventure. The purpose of the visit was to assess the seedlings’ survival rate, which stands at 95%. More importantly, the team was able to identify immediate interventions needed to support the growth and survival of newly planted seedlings.
This program contributes to forest sustainability, which is aligned with the mandate of JHMC on forest stewardship. JHMC encourages collaboration with other organizations and agencies in order to promote a sense of community and teamwork. A shared commitment to environmental stewardship points to the long-term benefit of reforestation efforts.
It also underlines collective responsibility for the environment while at the same time demonstrating the positive effect of community-led efforts in achieving forest sustainability.
