John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) took part in the inauguration of mural paintings at Barangays Lower Dagsian and Sta. Escolastica supporting Baguio City’s creative spirit.
The first mural was located at the Lower Dagsian Child Development Center, where child-friendly character paintings were specifically made, making it interesting and welcoming for the children who study there. A second landscape mural inaugurated was located at the center of Barangay Sta. Escolastica, which contains the historical context of the barangay and tells the story of the community’s humble beginnings.
JHMC takes pride in these community-driven pieces of artistry where social bonds were forged and the mediums of expression were provided, fostering culture and unity. These contributions add to the colorful world of Baguio City, as acknowledged by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a Creative City.
