John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) demonstrated its capabilities for gender and development empowerment by hosting the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) for a benchmarking discussion regarding Gender and Development (GAD). This activity tackled details on GAD-related processes, project planning and development, gender-responsive policies, and other general work involvement. JHMC and AFAB both presented their best practices on maintaining a gender-responsive workplace, including in-depth discussions and presentations of strategies and site tours, allowing AFAB to envision how JHMC’s programs are actualized on the field and how much their impacts are seen.
JHMC has previously participated in the 4th Investments Promotion Agencies’ Gender and Development (GAD) Forum, held on October 07–08, 2024, at Pasay City, where JHMC’s shared goals were exemplified with other national agencies.
