JHMC To Start Barangay Immersion and House Tagging Following Barangay Assembly

Camp John Hay, Baguio City – John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) President and Chief Executive Officer, Atty. Marlo Ignacio V. Quadra expressed his appreciation to all barangays for their active participation in the barangay assembly held last July. He stated, “The effective collaboration of JHMC and the barangays reached another milestone as the successful turnout and involvement in the recent assembly were considered the key to the Barangay Segregation Program’s progress and development.”

To further consolidate ties with the barangays, Atty. Quadra announced the implementation of what is called the barangay immersion, scheduled to start every Thursday of the month of September. This immersion will give an open avenue for improved communication between JHMC and the barangays through direct interaction and feedback.

In addition, Atty. Quadra said that house tagging every Saturday will now be officially initiated. Such a schedule was set to make sure that most of the residents were home to ensure effectiveness and more involvement of the members of the community.

Updates on the progress report of the discussion held during the barangay assembly encompassing a wide range of community initiatives and activities that have been undertaken to improve the communities within the reservation area, manage environmental resources, and promote social welfare; these have been rather instrumental in highlighting the accomplishments of the partnership and laying the groundwork for future collaboration.
