JHMC’s Second Locator’s Meeting Sets Direction for Growth in Camp John Hay

Camp John Hay, Baguio City– The John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) held its second locator’s meeting today, June 21, 2024, marking a pivotal moment in the ongoing development of the John Hay Special Economic Zone (JHSEZ). The meeting served as a platform to introduce the new administration under the leadership of PCEO Atty. Marlo Quadra.

At the forefront of discussions were initiatives aimed at driving growth and sustainability within the JHSEZ. PCEO Quadra emphasized operational efficiency, the promotion of sustainable practices, and the fostering of collaboration among locators. He underscored the administration’s commitment to transparency and responsiveness to the needs and suggestions of the locators, ensuring a conducive business environment in Camp John Hay.

Joined by OIC-OVPCOO Zaldy A. Bello, both leaders emphasized their shared commitment to creating a dynamic hub within the JHSEZ, integrating sustainable business practices that support economic growth while preserving the environment.

New updates and announcements concerning regulatory permits, environmental initiatives, and upcoming camp-wide activities within the JHSEZ were also discussed. These updates aim to streamline operations and enhance the eco-friendly footprint of the economic zone.

To provide essential support and resources to stakeholders, representatives from the Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-IBIG Fund delivered presentations and orientations on their services available to locators within the JHSEZ. 

Under PCEO Quadra’s leadership and vision, the corporation remains steadfast in ensuring regulatory compliance while catalyzing growth as it continuously promotes open dialogue, forges partnerships, and champions sustainable development within the economic zone.
